Ranti – Iwe Kiko | VIDEO

Ranti – Iwe Kiko

Iwe Kiko is Ranti‘s debut single and she regards her songs as folk music that cuts across all genres.
Iwe Kiko is a song that most children who grew up or schooled in the south-west can very well relate with, but Ranti makes the song hers in this video.

Ranti heartily sings the lyrics “Iwe kiko lai si oko ati ada, ko i pe o” (Education without farming tools is incomplete) about the very important topic of agriculture – reviving our indigenous occupation – farming, which would create employment opportunities for our teeming youth population and help diversify the economy.
